Your Tasks

  • Leads and manage the procurement team at our Sri Lanka Location, ensuring timely and accurate sourcing of materials and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Manage key supplier relationships, including international vendors, to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with planning, production, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Monitor and control procurement budgets, stock levels, and lead times to minimize disruptions and excess inventory.
  • Analyse market trends and conduct supplier benchmarking to drive procurement efficiency.
  • Lead negotiations and contract management to secure favourable terms and long-term value.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and ethical procurement practices.

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in commercial or technical fields with a focus on purchasing/ supply chain management or logistics
  • Several years of sound expertise in comparable position
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
