Your Tasks

  • Design and develop automation machinery programs for specific tasks and special projects.
  • Maintain and update existing automation systems
  • Inspect and repair machine breakdowns on automation systems and computer-controlled
    machinery and restore machinery operations within earliest periods
  • Carry out planned maintenance schedules on related machinery and equipment
  • Conduct market research and obtain best product and pricing for necessary components and
    spare parts
  • Accountable to highlight any bottlenecks in applicable processes to the immediate supervisor
    and implement necessary corrective actions as instructed

Your Profile

  • Technical diploma in Engineering at NVQ level 4 or higher (Electrical, mechanical or related
    field)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation systems
  • Proficiency in programming language as ladder logic, structured texts and function block
    diagrams (Experience in SIEMENS control system preferred)
  • Strong understanding of control systems, sensors and instrumentation
  • Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and single line diagrams
  • Knowledge of electronic microcontrollers and programming and with a fair understanding of
    pneumatics and mechanical systems is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
